Our 800G OSFP SR8 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance parallel multimode hot-pluggable transceiver, fully compliant with IEEE 802.3df 800GBASE-SR8 and OSFP MSA specifications. It adopts 8-channel PAM4 parallel transmission at 850nm wavelength, supporting 800Gbps full-duplex bandwidth for short-reach high-density interconnection inside data centers.

The 800G OSFP SR8 module works with MPO multimode trunk cable and MPO breakout fiber cable (OM3/OM4/OM5).
- MPO-16 APC version module: Use 16-fiber MPO trunk cable (MPO16 to MPO16) or MPO16-LC breakout cable. One MPO16 trunk cable carries all 8 transmit and 8 receive fiber lanes for SR8 800G parallel transmission.
- Dual MPO-12 APC twin-port version: It is essentially 2×400G SR4 inside one OSFP package. Use two pieces of 12-fiber MPO trunk cables (MPO12). Each MPO12 handles one 400G SR4 channel, can breakout to LC dual ports for 400G/200G/100G fan-out.
Cable recommendation: OM4 / OM5 multimode MPO trunk & breakout cable, APC polishing, correct polarity (Type A/B/C) for parallel optical links, widely used for top-of-rack switch interconnection.
We perform full optical testing including transmit power, receiver sensitivity and insertion loss for every module before shipment. Customized label and compatible firmware options are available.
